Frequently Asked Questions
What if my audio tape or record is blank?
If we find a cassette, reel, or record is blank during digitizing, we will contact you promptly by email or phone to discuss next steps.
We charge a small $6 inspection fee for the time spent checking blank media. You are not charged a full transfer fee for content that is not there. Your original media is always returned.
If you believe something should be on the tape or record, we can discuss a deeper check—additional fees may apply. Learn more about our audio transfer services or ask us before you send a large batch.
